ABSTRACT

An attempt to produce of natural antibiotic with the effectiveness of lactic acid filtrate and bacteriocins of L.bulgaricus in soyghurt according of concentration against inhibitory zone growth of K.pneumoniae strains has been done in laboratory. This research aimed to get the best treatment among concentration of lactic acid filtrate and bacteriocins of L.bulgaricus in soyghurt against the MIC (Minimum Inhibitory Concentration) value and growth inhibition zones of K.pneumoniae strains. This research consists of two phases: first examine the MIC of lactic acid filtrate and bacteriocins of L.bulgaricus in soyghurt against K.pneumoniae strains. The second phase is testing the effectiveness of lactic acid filtrate and bacteriocins of L.bulgaricus in soyghurt against inhibitory zones growth of K.pneumoniae strains. Results of the first research showed the concentration 20% of lactic acid filtrate and 50% bacteriocins of L.bulgaricus in soyghurt can bactericidal tend against K.pneumoniae strains. The second phases of the research results showed the effectiveness of lactic acid filtrate and bacteriocins of L.bulgaricus in soyghurt can gave the effect against increasing of inhibition zones of K.pneumoniae strains. The greatest of inhibition zones obtained K.pneumoniae ATCC 700603 in the concentration 90% of  lactic acid filtrate amounting 15,667 mm. The inhibitory zone growth of K.pneumoniae strains depending on the concentration of L.bulgaricus in soyghurt, and bacteria strains.
